EMMD - Électrochimie, Matériaux Moléculaires et Dispositifs

Les activités de recherche de l'équipe EMMD (Electrochimie, Matériaux Moléculaires et Dispositifs) portent sur les matériaux moléculaires, de la molécule au matériau et du matériau au dispositif. Les techniques électrochimiques sont employées pour synthétiser, immobiliser et détecter des espèces chimiques ou biologiques.

L'aspect synthétique concerne la synthèse et la fonctionnalisation de macrocycles (porphyrines et phthalocyanines) et de polymères. L'aspect analytique 1) exploite les propriétés redox de composés ou de couches sensibles (biomatériaux, polymères conducteurs, complexes à transfert de charge,…) pour la caractérisation et la détection de biomolécules ou de polluants chimiques à l'aide de capteurs; 2) permet d'appréhender les mécanismes réactionnels de processus moléculaires. Nos projets sont focalisés sur les applications dans les domaines de l'environnement, la santé et l'industrie agroalimentaire.
