 Alla Bessmertnykh-Lemeune est Chercheuse au CNRS (CR-HC) à l'Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de l'Université de Bourgogne (ICMUB). Elle est diplômée de l'Université d'Etat Lomonosov de Moscou en 1985. Après une thèse de doctorat dirigée par Pr. Yu. Shabarov à Moscou (1988), elle a rejoint le laboratoire du Pr. I. Beletskaya à l'Université d'Etat Lomonosov de Moscou. En 2000, elle s'installe en France et après des stages post-doctoraux dans les groups de Pr. R. Guilard, Dr. G. Bertrand et Pr. F. Hénin, elle est nommée responsable du développement chez Finorga groupe Novasep. Elle a obtenu son habilitation en chimie organique en 2002 et un poste permanent au CNRS en 2005.

Les recherches sont intégrées dans la stratégie nationale de développement durable et de protection de l’environnent qui font partie d’un des deux axes principaux de recherche de l'ICMUB. Elles sont organisées autour de la chimie des ligands azotées et de leurs complexes et regroupent trois thématiques :

• la mise en place d’outils pour une détection sélective et sensible des polluants environnementaux ainsi que la décontamination de l’environnement ;
• l'étude de systèmes supramoléculaires biomimétiques qui vise à long terme le développement de matériaux photoactifs et thermochromes ;
• le développement de procédés catalytiques durables.

Notre méthodologie « bottom-up » est basée sur le développement de nouveaux ligands azotés toujours plus performants, études de leur complexes métalliques, ainsi que leur utilisation pour l’élaboration de matériaux fonctionnels via l’auto-assemblage, l’incorporation dans des réseaux métal-organiques cristallines, la modification de surfaces d’oxydes de métaux, préparation des xérogels ou matériaux en couche mince.

Ces recherches sont conduites en collaboration avec 6 équipes russes (Pr. V. Arslanov, Dr. A. Averin, Pr. I. Beletskaya, Dr. A. Cheprakov, Dr. Yu. Gorbunova, Pr. S. Nefedov) organisées dans un consortium scientifique "Laboratoire International Associé (LIA) du CNRS" (2011-2019).
