Since 2013, Julien ROGER currently works at the Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de l'Université de Bourgogne (ICMUB), University of Burgundy as assistant professor. His current research interests focus on the C–H bond activation for new C–Heteroatom bond formation by transition metals and mechanism understanding. 

1- Access to news functionalized tetrazine derivatives through C–H bond activation approaches and their applications.
2- Access to halogenated (X = F, Cl, Br; I) molecules by C–H bond activation.
3- Development of new ferrocenyls ligand and coordination chemistry for news catalytic reactions
