Research support services

The team provides administrative management (finance, human resources, communication, logistics), support for the scientific projects of the 3 research teams (the staff, millions of euros annually) in an environment of 2 supervision / CNRS
Main activities :
- Steering and execution of the organizational, administrative, financial and logistical policy of the Unit
- Human Resources Management (statutory and contractual staff)
- Establishment of financial statements, analysis of expenses
- Response to surveys, audits, evaluations, production and means of the unit

The high research potential of ICMUB confers a strategic character to the protection of its scientific and technical heritage.
Classified as ZRR, the security of information systems (ISS) is essential for the protection of its human resources, its tools and scientific data.

The IT team ensures the supervision, management and production of all the IT resources of the institute.

The IT team performs the following tasks :
exploitation of the System & Network infrastructure
the management of its physical and virtual servers
backup and availability of data
support and advice to users and research teams
advice and assistance to users
management of the computer park consisting of about 300 workstations (1/3 MAC - 2/3 Windows)
welcoming newcomers and guests (keys, magnetic cards, SSI awareness)
the loan management of equipment (video projector, octopus audio conference, ...)

In addition, the team disseminates and supports users on the applications and service offerings (national and local) of their two supervisory bodies (uB and CNRS).

Backed by ICMUB, the PACSMUB platform is specialized in the characterization and structural determination of molecular buildings.
Certified ISO9001 since 2010, thanks to its equipment of high technological levels and its staff, this platform meets the analytical means of the ICMUB but also to those of the teaching and those of the services of the private or public sectors.
It is an essential component of ICMUB's scientific strategy.
