Team "Organometallic electrosynthesis"

Our expertise

It is desserved by a long-time practice and experience in synthesis, electrosynthesis and molecular electrochemistry:

  • Electrosynthesis and characterization of mono- and polynuclear transition metal complexes
  • Paramagnetic complexes and spectra simulation
  • Reaction mechanisms
  • Ligand substitution
  • Measurement of kinetic and thermodynamic parameters through numeric simulation of voltammetric data
  • Organometallic electrocatalysis: activation of small molecules and peculiar bonds (carbon-halogen as an example)
  • Organic electrosynthesis (nitrated derivatives, chain reactions)
  • Osidic electrosynthesis (with a consumable anod)
  • Electrosynthesis in protic and aprotic media
  • Electrosynthesis under inert atmosphere (Schlenck technique)

Activity and scientific project

The actions of the group "Electrosynthèse Organométallique" are relevant of both fundamental and applied aspects of electrochemistry and concerns organometallic reactivity, electrocatalysis, and the development of new synthetic methods, making use of electrochemistry, as for example by the way of sacrificial anod method.
